Green logo for the Program on the Global Environment

EPIC, the Program on Global Environment, and UChicago Career Advancement are hosting their annual networking dinner event, ENERGIZE, for those interested in working in the sustainability, energy, and environmental fields. Students will be able to mingle with experienced professionals from organizations and companies such as the Environmental Law & Policy Center, Big Green, Tradewater, etc. Students will speak to panelists in small groups about their career experiences and how to succeed in various fields. Attendees will be given time at the end for open networking. Sign up here.

This convening is open to all invitees regardless of vaccination status and, because of ongoing health risks, particularly to the unvaccinated, participants are expected to adopt the risk mitigation measures (masking and social distancing, etc.) appropriate to their vaccination status as advised by public health officials or to their individual vulnerabilities as advised by a medical professional. Public convening may not be safe for all and carries a risk for contracting COVID-19, particularly for those unvaccinated. Participants will not know the vaccination status of others and should follow appropriate risk mitigation measures.

If students have any questions about access or to request any reasonable accommodations that will facilitate their full participation in this event such as ASL interpreting, captioned videos, Braille or electronic text, food options for individuals with dietary restrictions, etc. please contact the event organizers, William Lutterman and Student Prep Grad Intern (Candace Mui), or Career Advancement at careeradvancement@uchicago.edu.
