They support more than 400 registered student organizations; provide dozens of ways to serve the community, and countless health, wellness, and fitness options.

Office of Civic Engagement (OCE)
OCE is UChicago’s gateway to the South Side and the city, connecting the University to our neighbors. Our office works to foster UChicago’s university-wide approach to civic engagement and instill a shared set of values and practices while empowering each internal unit to build on its own unique strengths in forging community partnerships.

Office of Sustainability
The Office of Sustainability in Facilities Services collaborates with campus and community partners to enhance a culture of sustainability using data-driven, yet relationship-based approach that connects students, faculty, and staff into a cohesive University-Wide network. Our philosophy is to achieve a balance between environmental, social, and economic sustainability in all decisions. By maintaining a comprehensive Sustainability Plan, we integrate responsible practices and considerations across the University of Chicago.

Office of the Provost
The Office of the Provost supports the University of Chicago’s community of scholars, their shared ideals, and the core values that make the University a singular intellectual destination. UChicagoGRAD offers a range of services and resources to enhance the ability of graduate students and postdoctoral scholars to navigate their careers at UChicago and beyond. University of Chicago Medicine Facilities Planning, Design and Construction
Facilities Planning, Design and Construction for the University of Chicago Medicine and Biological Sciences Division (BSD) supports the University’s medical, research and education community, from physicians to patients, principal investigators to laboratory staff, residents to hospital staff,undergraduate students to post doctoral scholars. Their sustainability mission is to achieve sustainability goals by establishing and promoting best practices, reduce environmental waste while sustaining current operating procedures.
