On August 31st, the U.S. Department of Energy’s Building Technologies Office (BTO) will host a free public workshop to help rethink the strategies and programs supporting building technology commercialization. The workshop will help to identify and discuss opportunities to enable a productive commercialization pipeline for the built environment. From the announcement:
To meet climate change mitigation goals, we need to significantly increase the rate of commercialization of high performing energy efficiency technologies in the built environment. BTO wants to improve its strategies and programs to pull reliable, high performing building technologies into the market quicker and scale up adoption.
We are calling on all building innovation ecosystem stakeholders across research, industry, private investment and more to join our first Technology-to-Market (T2M) Workshop, August 31, 2021, 11:00 am ET – 4:00 pm ET.
